Are you a therapist?
Though you are likely to make a lot of progress working with me, I am not a therapist. If you are suffering from severe depression, or other mental illness, I urge you to consult mental health professional.
If I am working with a therapist can I still work with you?
Yes, I encourage everyone to work with anyone that supports them in living their fullest life.
I don’t live near NYC, can I still work with you?
Yes, most of my sessions are done via video chat (zoom). If you do not have a good internet connection, telephone sessions are available.
How much do you charge?
My initial phone consultation session (approximately 20 minutes) is free. The next step is to do a $35 intro session, from this mini session I develop a plan suited for you.
What is an intro session?
An intro session is a deeper consultation. I will ask you to fill out 2 worksheets. In our session we will discuss the things you want to work on, and the things that I notice from the worksheets. I will ask questions, and offer insights. We will work together to determine a plan that best suits your needs. This session will last 1/2 hour to 1 hour.
How long is a session?
Sessions are usually 1 to 1.5 hours long. If we are getting deep into something and you have the time, I am willing to go a little longer if I feel it will benefit you.
What do I get when I make a monthly commitment?
Monthly support and sessions, includes anywhere from 2-8 sessions, and email, text and telephone connection as needed. The number of sessions and cost best suited for your needs will be determined during the intro session.
What do we work on in sessions?
In sessions we work to identify your roadblocks, patterns, resistance, and fears. We work to discover what is triggering these things, and create plans to break free. Ultimately, I will teach you to begin to notice and break free of these things without my support. Ideally you become a self cleaning oven.
Will you tell me what to do?
Often I will give you some homework and stuff to work on, but I will not tell you what do do in your life. I will support you in connecting with what is true for you, in discovery, and give you tools to step through and around your roadblocks. I will bring experience, insight, and intuition and teach you how to connect with yourself. This will give you a greater compass to follow in your decision making. Ultimately, it is up to you to make the decisions and take the steps that will improve your life.
